Monica Babuc

Minister of Education, Culture and Research of the Republic of Moldova

Monica Babuc is Minister of Education, Culture and Research of the Republic of Moldova. Until 2017, Mrs. Babuc was Minister of Culture. In 2013, she was Adviser to the Speaker of the Parliament of Moldova and Head of the Moldovan Parliament Information Department. In 2011-2013, Mrs. Babuc had the position of Chief of the Cabinet of the First Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Moldova. In 2005-2010, she was Adviser to the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Moldova. In 2001-2005, she was Head of Human Resource Department of the Chisinau subsidiary of the Savings Bank of Moldova.
 

In 1990-2001, Mrs. Babuc performed her activity at the Parliament's Apparatus, as adviser to the Commission for Culture, Science, Education and Mass Media. In 1989-1990, Mrs. Babuc began her career as Professor in a Political History Chair.
